What’s new this year?
The XC40 has adopted the 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain that debuted on several other Volvo models previously. The B4 replaces the previous T4 base model, with the B5 succeeding the previous T5 as the mainstream XC40 model. New Core, Plus and Ultimate trims for 2023 as well as available “Bright” and “Dark” trim themes. The C40 “Coupe” version of the XC40 is now available in three trimlines for 2023. The Google-brand operating system has replaced the previous Volvo-designed system.
