Infiniti QX60 2024

Our 2024 model year review

What’s new

All QX60s now come with a INFINITI InTouch services package as well as oil changes and tire rotations for four year/80,000 kilometers.

Comments

The updated-for-2023 QX60 was not a new vehicle but a comprehensive rebody of the architecture that debuted a decade ago. The Nissan 3.5L-V6 returned but the previous CVT transmission was replaced with a conventional nine-speed automatic. The Nissan group seems to be on a bit of a styling roll lately and the exterior of the QX60 is very elegant. The interior, is also very chic and room is similar to that of most competitors.

Pricing

With leather seating, a panoramic sunroof, power front seats and L.E.D. headlights, the base Pure trim is nicely equipped. Upgrading to the Luxe model adds front parking sensors, a power adjustable steering wheel, navigation, Pro-Pilot limited self driving, active cruise control and a variety of minor items and is priced to reflect the value of the content. The Sensory trim includes adaptive front lighting, a head-up display system, genuine wood trim accents, illuminated door entry kick plates, a Bose-branded audio system, an air-purifying system as well as some other comfort and convenience featuresabd us reasonable value. The range-topping Autograph model features a black-painted roof, captain chairs, a second-row console and semi-Aniline leather, but is a bit expensive for the equipment it brings.

Reliability

The biggest problem of the previous QX60 was poor CVT durability, which the new conventional nine-speed transmission should address. Typical Nissan issues like short-lived ball joints and premature failure of components such as air-conditioner compressors and electrical accessories.
