The Enclave is a very elegant machine outside and its cabin is a strikingly simple design with a serene ambiance. The first and second row seats are sumptuously supportive and occupants have room to stretch out. The third row seat is comfortable enough, with good legroom and cargo space for the class. Only one engine, a 3.6L-V6, is available on the Enclave.

The basic Essence trim is nicely equipped including all-wheel drive, a power driver’s seat, leather seating and deep-tint glass. Migrating to the Premium model includes a Bose-branded audio system, navigation, a 360 degree camera system, heated second-row seats, power third-row seat folding. a power-adjustable steering wheel, a head-up display and a variety of smaller comfort and convenience items, but is priced beyond its content. The range-topping Avenir trim adds a panoramic sunroof, larger wheels, adaptive cruise control and enhance autonomous emergency braking, but is overpriced. Forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot, rear cross traffic and lane departure warnings and a lane keeping system are standard. Active cruise control is standard on the Avenir trim, part of the $1595 Technology package on the Essence and incorporated into the $2295 Adaptive Cruise and Wheel package on the Premium.

Insufficient data on this generation of this. The basic warranty on the Traverse is three years 60,000 kilomtres, with five years/100,000 kilometres on the powertrain. The Enclave is covered by a basic four year/80,000 kilometre warranty, with six years/110,000 kilometres on the powertrain. A GM extended warranty recommended if you plan to keep these vehicles past the warranty period.
